Is there a way to test the acutal sensor with a meter to see if its bad. I put one in from another ubit that used to work and water still not shutting off water aftee full. Connectors arent corroded and checked harness connecting in back

Was it just me, or did this dryer sound even louder at the end, suggesting the problem was not fixed. But the comments from others here are helpful, indicating that it might be cracks in the blower wheel if it just starts making the noise when it heats up.

I'm going to try this this weekend with my dryer I done replace the thermostat in door switch and control board and it's doing the same thing, beats three times and will not start so I'm going to try this. I have an Electrolux dryer by the way.

@appliancevideo After hours of looking on RUclips for videos on a fix for my washer , this is the closest video to my issue and the most similar to my Samsung top load washer. I had a similar thread of thought after watching many videos and thought it was likely the control (main) board that needed to be replaced, so I ordered it , replaced it , and nothing , still won’t turn on , the same 2 little green lights that would turn on the original main board , turn on the replacement board. I then thought I might be the jog module so I replaced it and nothing , what else could it be that is causing not to turn on at all??? Any thoughts would be appreciated

Well this is the second video I've seen that's basically saying the lid lock mechanism needs to be replaced. I have literally only washed four loads of clothes in this brand new Maytag machine. I cannot believe it needs to be replaced already.

Helpful but a little more elaborating on it please. Will over tightening the bottom shaft nut, durning seal and bearings kit installation cause a code 68? Pressure hose looks good. No kinks or holes. Seems to skip wash/agitation. Did the test you show here. Fills with water. Then screen goes out . Proceeds no more. When trying cold wash cycle no agitation . Only slow spins. Seems to skip rinse function as well. Model WTW8500BWO THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I had to hit "Delay end" to continue with each diagnostic test, but i didn't see him do that. Did anyone else have to do it? Or it is supposed to be completely automatic to continue with the diagnostic tests?

I have the Whirlpool oven W11351204A. The sensor reading is 1113 ohms. Is that acceptable?

My problem was the coils died, but I think for a long time before that it was the timer. I had one cycle that wouldn't even work for whatever reason. I took it apart and cleaned the contacts and it was good for a while, but I think that's right where the coil/coils started to go. I took the whole thing apart and cleaned it, replaced the coils, ignitor, flame sensor, timer and thermostat just because the next time this thing fails, I'm shooting it and for now it works like new. Having these vids around was a good reference.
